kids?

Your children are welcome to come stay the weekend with you and to come to the events marked as "kid-friendly" on the schedule! Unfortunately, we will not have room for children at the ceremony & reception due to the size of the venue. If you need assistance finding other parents to share in childcare costs, please let us know . We will find a way to connect all the parents with each other!

parking?

If you are staying in the Point Reyes area for the weekend, you are welcome to drive to the venue for any/all events. We will be helping everyone staying in similar areas to coordinate carpooling, as parking onsite is limited.

If you are staying in Petaluma or commuting in from the Bay Area, please do not drive to the venue. We will be providing a shuttle service to and from Hotel Petaluma.

dress code?

Cocktail attire for the ceremony & reception, please! September weather in Point Reyes is usually temperate and clear, but it can get chilly at night, so we recommend that guests who choose to wear a dress also bring a light jacket or wrap. Feel free to wear flat shoes instead of heels - the ceremony will be on a hillside, so you'll want comfortable footwear to walk up and down.

For all other events, please wear whatever you're comfortable in! And remember to bring a swimsuit for kayaking and exercise clothes for yoga.

plus ones?

All invited guests are explicitly addressed on your envelope. We currently cannot accommodate additional guests, but depending on the final RSVP count, we may be able to add a few more as the date gets closer. Feel free to reach out after August 15 if you'd like to request an additional invitation for your plus one.

dietary restrictions?

Please note in your RSVP what your dietary restrictions are. We are confident that we will have food for you to eat, but if you’re anxious about it, feel free to email us.

which events will the grooms attend?

We will be attending all events on the Schedule page except for the Heidrun Meadery tour and tasting, as we will be busy getting ready for the ceremony and reception!

indoor or outdoor?

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be outdoors. At dinner, we will have patio heaters set up to help keep folks warm if necessary. We will move inside the Straus barn for the reception at around 7:30, right after the sun sets.
